Mark Fitzgerald Cooke

Mark's experience in business sales began at MotorTrader Malaysia, where he worked for Sir John Madejski, founder of Auto Trader. He led the sale of the business to Japanese buyers before working with its new owners on acquisitions across South East Asia.

After returning to the UK, Mark continued his involvement in international transactions, advising on the sale of a London-based business to Spanish buyers and supporting the integration that followed.

He joined Intelligent in 2018 and now leads the business, drawing on his experience of buying, selling and developing companies across different markets. Mark remains closely involved in business valuations, exit planning and larger or more complex transactions.

His experience on both sides of business transactions shapes Intelligent's approach: understanding what owners want to achieve, recognising what buyers need and helping both parties work towards a deal that makes commercial sense.
